I just can't stop trying to grow a garden. It's probably the earth-loving leanings, but there's just something about having my own little collection of herbs that I cared for that just makes me want to keep trying. Remember that gorgeous little herb garden I had going throughout the summer? Well, it died. All of it. Died. From a combination of too much water and too much shock from being moved several thousand miles.
And, because, my thumb - for all desires and wishes - just isn't very green.
So this is a one more time, because I haven't learned my lesson, and because I need to feel witchy, effort at having an herb garden. This time, however, it's indoors and I'm only giving the plants a little water once a week. Does anybody have any tips or tricks on how to keep plants thriving indoors? So far I have them in Miracle Gro Organic Potting Soil next to my big sliding glass doors facing south.
Oh, and I just got Cunningham's Book of Shadows in the mail. I'm going to try to power through the bulk of it this weekend and get you all a book review in the very near future. However, I will say the parts I've read through so far seem like most other Cunningham books. Enough good advice and ideas to merit buying it, but enough fluff and dogma that you need to not take every word as gospel. The rest is for another time.
Love and Lyte,
