Say WTF?!

I'll comment tonight, hopefully, when I'm not so fuming, spitting, raving mad and I can attack this matter with the same levelheadedness and academic acuity that I ask you listeners and readers to apply to such things.

I just heard this report on the Rachel Maddow show, and I implore you to listen to it. Please, keep in mind, this is just one man's archaic, outdated, and wrong view of Christianity and should not serve to fuel any anti-Christian ideas. What he says is vile and cruel and could potentially harm thousands of men, women, and families.

If you live in Virginia, please write to your Congressman. Get this man removed from his position of authority, because people like this don't need to run a lemonade stand let alone a state government.

Love and Lyte,

Fire Lyte

  1. Frith on a hill! This goes beyond ludacris! It reinforces my theory that religion is giving God a bad name! As far as gay or straight...really people...REALLY now?!

  2. Disgusted is an understatement for what I am feeling right about now. It sickens me to hear people twist words of wisdom and kindness into such filth. Even as a Pagan I believe that there are a great many wonderful lessons to be found in the bible. Now if only the more of the people who read it would find the messages of love and kindness, things like what is happening in Va. would never be allowed.

p.s. I would like to emphatically state to any who take offense to my last sentence I am not hating on Christians just narrow minded people and they come in every form even Pagan.

  3. I'm working on a letter now, since I live in Virginia. I don't know a whole lot about Christianity, but judging by the kind of Christians some of my friends are, this asshole is missing the message.
