Filthy, Funny, and My New Favorite Thing!

Today is Sunday, which is either the beginning of your week or the end of it depending on your profession and industry. Either way you slice it, tomorrow is Monday, and we're smack at the beginning of a Mercury Retrograde cycle. This being the first Monday in a Mercury Retrograde, and a Monday in general, it could very well be a yucky day.

That being said, I find the absolute best way to combat a potential or actual case of the yuckies is to laugh. A lot. Possibly at something wildly inappropriate. Thus, I give you my new favorite obsession...

Garfunkel and Oates!

They're a musical comedy duo whose most recent CD debuted at #1 on the iTunes comedy charts. Their music is available on iTunes, and I highly - HIGHLY - recommend you make some purchases. Also, if you get your friends involved, you all can laugh and point together. Makes for a great time. Some of my favorite songs of theirs are below.

Love and Lyte,

  1. Good morning, dearheart!

Well, I gave you a couple of weeks to settle back in, before I sat with a cuppa and read the blog(s).

Vacation has served you well. Your form is flawless and your wit intact!

    I really like G&O 29/31.

  2. Good Afternoon,

I don't believe in the negative effects of Mercury retrograde and because of that, I never have a bad time during it. I think it's a self-fulfilling curse that those who believe in it put on themselves. Aside from that, once you add scientific knowledge to the retrograde phenomenon and know the planet isn't actually moving backwards, the entire retrograde fear-mongering should fall apart.

That's my opinion though, and I don't use astrology for anything regarding my magic.

May you be blessed by whichever gods you fancy,
